Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar now available in 200ml glass pack
Since its launch in October 2016, Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar has grown by almost 20% in value and volume across the island of Ireland, and is driving solid growth in the no-sugar sparkling soft drink category*. Given the brand’s strong performance, Coca‑Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland is launching a new 200ml Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar glass pack for the on-trade to meet consumer demand.
The recipe for Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar is closer than ever to the taste of original Coca‑Cola Classic, but without sugar, and is one of a series of actions taken by Coca‑Cola to help people reduce their sugar consumption.
The launch of Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar was supported by a significant marketing investment and will remain a focus for the remainder of the year.
With the 200ml pack launching into the on-trade from the end of July, Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar will compliment the existing offering, and is expected to drive incremental growth for pubs, hotels and premium café’s in particular.
Gareth Devlin, National Account Manager for the channel explains, “Our Coca‑Cola range delivers 96% of all cola value in the on-trade, and within that, we know that the 200ml glass pack is the key driver.
“This pack is essential for the mixing occasion, and both Coca‑Cola Classic and Diet Coke 200ml glass packs are worth €57.5million in revenue.
“Due to the ongoing success of Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar, coupled with our focus on helping our consumers to manage their sugar intake, we are now pleased to extend our offering of this product to the on-trade with the introduction a 200ml glass pack.
