By entering this promotion entrants will be deemed to have accepted, and will be bound by, these Terms and Conditions and by any other requirements set out in related promotional materials. These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Please retain a copy for your information.

The Promoter takes data protection seriously. By entering this Promotion, participants confirm that they have read the Privacy Policy and agree to these Terms and Conditions of the Promotion. By submitting any information required as part of their entry into the Promotion, participants agree to their information being held and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EUGDPR and UKGDPR, as applicable) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Promoter:  Coca-Cola HBC Northern Ireland Limited, Knockmore Hill, 12 Lissue Road, Lisburn BT28 2SZ and Coca-Cola HBC Ireland Limited, Huntstown Business Park, Cappagh Road, Ballycoolin, Dublin 11 (“CCHBC” or “we”).Unless otherwise specified, no entries should be sent to this address.

Eligibility to enter / opening and closing dates

1. This Promotion is open to Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland residents aged 18 years and over only, excluding employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, European Refreshments UC (trading as Coca-Cola Ireland), and their affiliates, agencies, or anyone else professionally connected with the Promotion.

2. No entries from agents, third parties, organised groups, syndicates, or aliases will be accepted.

3. No incomplete, corrupted entries, or multiple entries over two (2) per day from the same person will be accepted. The entry must be made directly by the person entering the promotion. Only genuine valid entries will be considered.

4. Entries which are late, incomplete, misspelt, or incomprehensible are void and will not be entered into this Promotion, nor will they be contacted.

5. Mobile phone, internet and email account required.

6. No purchase necessary to enter the promotion. Text entry is free.

7. A maximum of two (2) entries permitted per person per day. Anyone entering or found to have entered more than twice a day using multiple handsets, multiple identities or computerised or automated system will be disqualified from the Promotion.

 

8.     A maximum of one (1) win per person per Prize type.

9.     Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, consumer groups, agents, third parties or syndicates will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of programs, applications, scripts, alias accounts brute force or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified, and any Prize/s awarded will be void.

10.   The Promoter reserves the right to block any number that is found to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

 

Promotional Period

11. The promotional period to enter a regular Weekly Prize Draw runs from 00:00 on 06.03.23 and closes at 23.59 on 30.04.23. Each Weekly Draw (8 in total) will cover all entries from 00:00 each Monday to 23:59 each following Sunday. 

12. The regular Weekly Prize Draws will take place the next working day (which will be a Monday – unless it falls on a bank holiday in which case the draw will take place on a Tuesday), with all valid entries from the preceding week being included in the relevant Weekly Draw.

Entries will not be carried forward to subsequent draws.

13. One (1) winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries throughout the promotion on 2^nd May 2023 in the Grand Prize Draw.

14. Any free text entries received after 23:59 on 30^th April 2023 will be invalid and will not be processed.

 

How to enter 

15.   No purchase necessary. 

16.   To enter for the Prize Draws, participants must: 

Free text “EPIC” to 50015 (for ROI) or 80800 (for NI) during the promotional period. 

Entrants will receive an automated text message response (at no charge) confirming entry into the Prize Draw and automatic entry into the Grand Prize Draw

17.   Entrants are advised to take care when typing and entering the text code and entry details. The Promoter is not responsible for typographical errors and incorrect texts which may be charged. Only correct entries that have followed the instructions and guidelines will be accepted. Capital letters or lower-case letters will both be accepted. For the avoidance of doubt, spelling mistakes will be disqualified. Attempted additional entries or invalid entries will not be included in the Prize Draws. Persistent abuse will result in immediate disqualification without notification. 

 

18.   Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise. 

19.   The Promoter does not guarantee that mobile networks will be available all of the time or at any specific time.

20.   Text messages are free, but errors could be charged at the relevant network provider’s standard rate and may not be included within a prepaid text package (as fees vary by network provider). Please double check with the billpayer before entering the Promotion. 

21. The Promoter shall have sole and final determination as to which entries are genuine and therefore eligible to take part in this Promotion.

 

Selecting the winner(s)

22. There will be eight (8) Weekly Draws, in addition to the one (1) Grand Prize Draw (2^nd May 2023) as detailed.

23. Thirteen (13) Prize winners will be drawn at random Weekly from all valid entries received on each of the eight (8) weeks during the Promotional Period. Winners and a number of reserves for each draw will be drawn on the dates specified from all genuine, valid entries. Winners will be drawn for the Prizes in the following order: 1) fitness watch, 2) walking boots, 3) tent, 4) rucksack, 5) headphones and 6) €/£25 outdoor retail vouchers as specified via an independently verified random program. A new winner will be drawn if a previous winner is selected in any Weekly Draw. Reserves will be drawn after the thirteen (13) potential winners have been drawn, in the same order as the Prizes, just in case they are required.

24. If your entry is drawn at random for the Prize, you will win, subject to verification. 

25.   ONLY winners will be notified via text within twenty-four (24) working hours of the draw taking place, giving instructions for the next steps of the claim process. Winners will have fourteen (14) days to claim their Prize from first contact. Winners will be required to provide information including: their name, mobile number, proof of age, email address and home address to assist with verification, fulfilment of the Prize and arranging Prize delivery, this will be collected and processed in a secure manner by trusted third party.

26.   Text messages received from the Promoter will be at the Promoter’s cost.

27. The text confirming the Grand Prize win will be sent within twenty-four (24) working hours of the draw taking place.

 

Weekly Prize Draw Prizes

28.   There are a maximum of one hundred and four (104) Prizes available to be won via Weekly Prize Draws during the Promotion.

29. The Prizes available to be won each week (for a total of 8 weeks) include:

30.   Prizes are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable and must not be sold, auctioned nor advertised for sale whether on the internet, in newspapers or elsewhere. Any person found in breach of this term will be disqualified from participating. No cash alternatives or other alternative Prize will be available in whole or in part, except in the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, whereby the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with Prizes of equal or greater value. The Prize will only be awarded directly to the Winner.

Fitness Tracker - Prize package includes:

1 x Activity Tracker Watch, including secure delivery within Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland, as applicable.

Fitness and activity tracker, offering measurements of multiple health metrics, built-in GPS, Bluetooth connection, heart rate and sleep tracking, and battery life of up to 7 days.

Walking Boots - Prize package includes:

1 x Pair of Walking Boots of winner’s choice, up to a maximum value of £100/€110, including secure delivery within Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland, as applicable.

 

Tent - Prize package includes:

1 x 2-Person Camping Tent with Poles, including secure delivery within Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland, as applicable.

31.   Delivery is available to addresses within Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland, as applicable, only; Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable; No cash alternative is available; Due to industrial action and industry-wide supply chain issues, there may be unforeseen delays to deliveries of physical Prizes. We will endeavour to get products delivered to winners as quickly as possible; All Prizes are subject to availability. In the event that the product listed above is unavailable, an alternative product of equal value will be provided; The winner is responsible for ensuring that any delivery note is checked on receipt.

 

Gift Voucher - Prize package includes:

Grand Prize Draw Prize

32.   The Grand Prize Draw Prize includes:

1.     1 x 2-person 5-night adventure holiday to Dubrovnik including activities (details below). 

2. Prize is strictly non-transferable and non-refundable and must not be sold, auctioned or advertised for sale whether on the internet, in newspapers or elsewhere. Any person found in breach of this term will be disqualified from participating. No cash alternatives or other alternative Prize will be available in whole or in part, except in the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, whereby the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with Prizes of equal or greater value. The Prize will only be awarded directly to the Winner and cannot be given or transferred to any other person.

 

Prize package for 2 adults includes: 

Return Economy Class flights from Belfast or Dublin to Dubrovnik, including all taxes, fees and one (1) item of checked luggage per person; Return private airport transfers in Dubrovnik; five (5) nights’ hotel accommodation in Dubrovnik, with a three-star rating, based on sharing a double or twin room, including daily breakfast; £500 spending money.

 

Flight information:

- Economy Class flights available from international airports in Belfast and Dublin only. 

- Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available.

- Flight itinerary will be selected by the Prize provider at their sole discretion.

- Winner and guest must travel at the same time with the same itinerary.

- At least one (1) guest must be aged 18 or over. Any guests aged under 18 will require parental or guardian permission prior to travel. 

Hotel information:

- Hotel accommodation 3* or above will be selected by the Prize provider at their sole discretion.

- A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into hotel accommodation.

- Accommodation is based on two (2) people sharing a double or twin room.

- Winners must contact Prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three (3) separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure. 

Activities information: 

- Tickets for a zip lining experience on the Adriatic Coast, including equipment hire and instruction.

o For zip lining experience, the minimum weight per participant is 50kg and the maximum weight per participant is 110kg. Any participants aged under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  

- Half-day private ATV (all-terrain vehicle) tour, including roundtrip transfers from Dubrovnik, equipment hire, instruction and refreshments.

o   For ATV tour, the driver must have a full driving license, and the minimum age for passengers is 9 years old.

- Half-day sea kayaking excursion, including roundtrip transfers from Dubrovnik, equipment hire, instruction and refreshments.

o For sea kayaking tour, minimum age is 6 years old, and children must be accompanied by an adult. 

- If unavailable, experiences of a similar nature and value may be offered at Prize provider’s discretion. 

 

All other information:

- All elements of the Prize must be taken at the same time.

- All Prize elements are subject to availability.

- Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; No cash alternative is available.

- Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time.

- The Prize cannot be taken from 19th December to 4th January (Christmas and New Year), over public holidays in the UK and Ireland, or over Easter Sunday.

- Once booked, the Prize cannot be amended or cancelled.

- The Prize excludes travel from the winner’s home address to departure airport, meals, and drinks (except where specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the Prize. 

- All travelers will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel.

- Any necessary visas and medical insurance etc. are the responsibility of the winner and their guests. 

- If the winner elects not to, or is unable to, use part of the Prize, the winner will forfeit that part of the Prize package.

- Prize must be taken in accordance with government guidelines and COVID-19 rules and restrictions in place at the time of travel. The arrangement and additional costs for any COVID-19 testing or other expenses that may be incurred are the sole responsibility of the winner and guest.

Notification of the Prize

33. ONLY winners will be sent a text containing a URL to upload information online, their contact and delivery details will need to be provided in order for the Prize to be fulfilled. This text will be sent within 24 working hours of each Weekly Prize Draw.

34.   Winners will be required to visit the URL sent to them via text and complete the verification process, then provide their full name, date of birth, valid address, mobile number (this needs to be the mobile number which entered and received the winning text response) and valid email address that is personal and accessible throughout the promotion. Winners should keep hold of their text message until their win has been verified. 

35.   A trusted third party of the Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners, however, if a winner has not responded to notification within fourteen (14) days of initial contact attempt or if a selected winner is ineligible, rejects their Prize, otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or unable to take up the Prize for any other reason, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize, and re-allocate the Prize back into the Promotion if during the Promotional period and select the reserves next in line, as detailed from the original relevant draw. These reserve(s) will be contacted by the same process. If a winner has not responded to any communication and the Prize has not been awarded after three (3) attempts with each potential winner (main winner & two (2) reserves per draw), the Prize has therefore not been successfully claimed and will be null and void.

36. Once winners have submitted their personal details online, a verification process will then take place. All verified entries will be submitted to the Prize Provider to fulfil the Prize.

37. On successful verification, the Prize Provider will arrange for fulfilment of the Prize won within twenty-eight (28) working days. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incorrect delivery details submitted by the winner.

38.   In the event that a Prize is not received within 28 working days, please contact the fulfillment agency detailed in the winners’ email received upon successful verification. 

39.In the event that there are any queries raised regarding Prize fulfilment, the Promoter’s agent may need to contact the participant via the email address or telephone number provided upon submitting a claim.

 

General

40.   The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and winners and to refuse to award a Prize or withdraw Prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the Promotion or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.

41. Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Any person found in breach of this term will be disqualified from participating.  

42. The Prize will only be awarded directly to the winner.

43. The Promoter and its agents will only use personal information supplied by entrants to this promotion for the purposes of administering this promotion unless consent is received to use such information for any other purpose.  

44.   The Promoter reserves the right to add more Prizes into the main promotion. Winners only will be notified in line with these Terms and Conditions.

45. The Promoter's decision is final in all matters pertaining to the promotion.

46.   Subject to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy for a list of full names and countries of winners, email [email protected] for ROI and [email protected] for NI between 2^nd May 2023 – 31st May 2023. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any or all such requests. Should a winner object to their information being made available, they should contact the Promoter by emailing [email protected] . The Promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the relevant Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.

47. Winners may be required, if they consent, to take part in reasonable publicity relating to this promotion including the publication of their full names and counties, without further remuneration 

48. Incomplete, illegible, corrupted entries or those which are otherwise not in accordance with these terms and conditions will not be valid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for failure to receive an entry where such failure is due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s control.

49. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the entry process or operation or to be acting in any manner disruptive to the promotion.

50. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human, mobile or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of Prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

51. No responsibility will be accepted for any difficulties in entering, claiming or any entries/claims delayed or corrupted. The Promoter will have no liability for any loss arising out of such an event.

52.   The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using a Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law.

53. Limitations of liability: insofar as permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor the promotional parties assume any responsibility or liability for:-

i. Any incorrect or inaccurate code entry, or for any faulty, incorrect, failed, erroneous or failed electronic data transmissions,

 ii. Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers, or providers utilized in any aspect of this promotion causing delays or disruption,

 iii. Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof,

iv. Insofar as permitted by law, any injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the promotion,

54. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

55.   These Terms and Conditions (and any non-contractual disputes/claims which arise out of or in connection with them) will be governed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland or Ireland, as applicable, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland or Ireland, as applicable, regarding any and all disputes arising out of, relating to, or concerning these Terms.

Data Protection: The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and the auditing of the entries where necessary and for no other purpose unless we have your consent and you have opted-in to receive future marketing communications. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential, and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
