Coca‑Cola set to disrupt the iced tea category as Fuzetea launches in Ireland

Coca‑Cola has announced the launch of the globally successful, premium iced tea brand Fuzetea in Ireland – an exciting fusion of the fruit flavours, botanicals and tea in two low sugar variants.

Launched with an investment of €500,000 including significant outdoor and online media promotion the expansion of Fuzetea into new markets demonstrates our strategy to move quickly to offer consumers more choice, by introducing a succession of great tasting new category drinks.

Fuzetea is a unique fusion of tea extracts, fruit flavours and botanicals which deliver a fresh, contemporary taste, offering a refreshing alternative within the iced tea category. It initially launched in 2012 in 14 international markets and saw accelerated growth to billion-dollar status in less than three years.

Two new blends are now available on the Irish market: Fuzetea Peach with a touch of hisbiscus and Fuzetea Lemon with Lemongrass.

The tea extracts in Fuzetea come from 100% sustainably sourced tea leaves. Fuzetea is also reduced in calories, and is sweetened with natural sugar and stevia extract in response to consumers’ increasing demands for different products.

The two variants are available in 500ml PET bottles in retailers across Ireland from 1st January 2018.
