Developed by Coca‑Cola HBC to empower and support 16-30 year-olds to improve their employability, the #YouthEmpowered initiative has provided free life and business skills training to over 2,000 young people across the island of Ireland since it was launched in 2017.
The programme is delivered through workshop-based training in partnership with Youth Action Northern Ireland and YouthWork Ireland. It also offers online content and mentoring support.
94% of recent participants agreed that the programme increased their employability, giving them confidence in their job application and interview skills.
We are delighted to be working with Press Up Entertainment Group on this #YouthEmpowered event. As a business we understand the skills shortages that are really challenging the sector and are committed to the development of the next generation of talent. Through this partnership with Press Up we are helping them to cultivate real life skills while creating genuine first job opportunities for young people. Miles Karemacher, General Manager, Ireland and Northern Ireland
#YouthEmpowered will deliver a further 12 regional skills building events to over 1,100 young people throughout the year, with this special training day in Dublin designed to bridge the skills gap in the hospitality sector.
