The €130,000 Fund calls on non-profit and community groups to apply with new ideas to inspire and support young people across the following areas:
- Self Esteem & Confidence Building: projects that help equip young people with skills for living, life and work
- Wellbeing: initiatives focused on providing youth with an outlet to support their mental health and wellbeing - from creative pursuits, to mentorship, to community involvement
- Leadership: programmes for young people to develop their leadership skills – positioning them as future community, business or cultural leaders
The Fund has been running since 2011 and in that time it has supported 43 organisations for community, social and education programmes aimed at promoting youth development, healthy and active lifestyles, and environmental leadership. To date €625,000 has been awarded in grants, with over 30,000 people positively impacted as a result.
Coca‑Cola Lisburn Lord Mayor's Bursary
In addition to the Thank You Fund, Coca‑Cola supports young people from the Lisburn and Castlereach areas with the Lisburn Lord Mayor's Bursary each year. The bursary provides financial support to talented young people to enable them to develop their skills and individual performance in a variety of activities.
